The File Compressor

Certified zero-byte compression for anything you were tired of storing.

What We Do

The File Compressor accepts any file — a photo, a spreadsheet, a video you forgot you had — and passes it through the compression chamber for a full Space Optimization assessment, issued by the Bureau of Space Optimization.

Every compression produces its own certificate number, its own itemized breakdown of entirely fictional compression units, and a result the Bureau considers final: zero bytes, every time.

A Note on Privacy

Nothing you drop into the compression chamber is ever uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere. The Bureau glances only at the file's name and reported size — enough for the certificate — and never opens, reads, or examines its contents.

This is not a policy. It's a technical limitation the Bureau has chosen to be proud of.

Methodology

Each certificate totals a random selection of itemized compression units — Molecular Density Adjustment, Thermal Byte Expansion, Vacuum Seal Compliance Fee, and similar line items — measured on a scale the Bureau considers scientifically defensible.

The Compressed Size is always zero bytes, regardless of the file's original size, composition, or importance. The Bureau has never once observed an exception, mostly because it does not check.

Certification

Every certificate is issued, filed, and immediately forgotten. Certificates cannot be reissued, appealed, or looked up again — the Bureau keeps no records beyond the moment of filing, which is itself a form of space optimization.
